Two days, one very good room

Here's a simple way to use the Suite as a base for a small team — a founder and a few colleagues, a creative crew, a deal group. Two days of real work, broken up by the best of the city, without anyone scattering to a hotel lobby.

Day one

• Morning — arrive and set up. Meet at the Suite, claim the six-screen desk, and get straight into the hardest problem while everyone's fresh.
• Lunch — the Mercadão. Walk or take one metrô stop to the market for the famous sandwich. A real break, not a sad tray of catering.
• Afternoon — the working session. Back at the desk with the city in the window. Rotate who drives the screens.
• Evening — a rooftop, then dinner. Time a drink at a rooftop for sunset, then a relaxed dinner nearby.

Day two

• Morning — deep work. The quiet, focused block. Coffee stocked, screens up, phones down.
• Midday — a walk to reset. Fifteen minutes around Praça da República clears more heads than another coffee.
• Afternoon — land it. Final session, decisions made, then wrap.
• Evening — the close. End the retreat where you worked it: a drink at the brass bar as the city switches on. A better full stop than any conference room. (You didn't hear that phrase from us.)

A hotel meeting room empties when the coffee runs out. This room keeps a team together.

The practical bit
